Career development of international talents of the energy research fields in the Iberian Peninsula

Talent4Iberia is an International Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme aimed at attracting talent to Extremadura. It offers 10 interdisciplinary and intersectoral fellowships of 36 months for the mobility and training of postdoctoral researchers of any nationality to carry out R&D activities in Energy Storage, enhancing their employability and career prospects in an outstanding research environment.

The Programme will recruit fellows to develop research projects in the field of Energy Storage, focusing on three lines:
Line 1: Electrical energy storage
Line 2: Hydrogen and power-to-X
Line 3: Thermal energy storage

With a 5-year duration, the Programme is coordinated by the Regional Government of Extremadura and implemented by three Host Institutions: the Iberian Centre for Research in Energy Storage (CIIAE), the University of Extremadura (UEx), and CICYTEX. It involves 21 Associated Partners from 15 countries (EU and beyond), from academia, research centres, and industry in the energy sector.

Talent4Iberia delivers an interdisciplinary and innovative training programme combining research, academic and non-academic secondments, and training in scientific and transferable skills, coordinated by FUNDECYT-PCTEX.
